Editor's Note: This is a goal breakdown for one of my eight life facets – includes where I am now, a being statement, 5-year goals and goals for 2010. Some of the goals are tangible and some our intangible.
Where Am I Now: Recently had first physical as an adult – 'extremely healthy'
• Have had some sleep issues in the past – nothing significant
• Active w/ primary source of exercise coming from running
• Social drinker – no smoking
• Watch what I eat – limited fast food & no sodas
Being Statement: I will maintain my current weight and level of fitness and inspire others around me to live an active, healthy lifestyle as well.
By 2015, I will have...
– Complete 1/2 Iron Man Triathlon
– Run 10 half marathons – break 1:35 time in the process
– Help my son find the activity(ies) that he likes
– Get another physical
– Hire personal trainer
– Join running club
– Participate in Texas Independence Relay
– Complete my 3rd marathon (under 4 hours)
– Do one event with my wife (e.g. Turkey Trot)
